The Color Purple Reflection/Journal Entry Day 6   Letter 19, Harpo and Mr.______ are outside on the porch. He wants to know how to put Sofia in her place and not backtalk him. Mr.______ tells his son women are like children. The only logical thing to keep Sofia in control is to beat her. In the past letters, Mr.______ told Harpo women are the ones to work and nobody else. Reflection|Journal Entry Day 18   In Mr.Rease class, the lesson was going over claims and how to write it correctly or finding the right one. To find the right one, first a person has to read the prompt and see what is the question asking. Second, gather up or set up a planner. However, it should not take lomg because students are in a room for about 4 hours taking the tests. Then, write the introductory paragraph, thesis statement. After, it is claims, textual support, commentary, second part of that. Atleast 3 body paragraphs and a conclusion paragraph.   Day 18:  Today, I practiced with my Drill Team. At this point, it should be no excuses to why somebody cannot be on the right command or do it correctly. To me, it look like some people want to be in the Drill Team just to be in it and really do not want to work on theirselves. Fences Reflection|Journal Entry Day 19   The class went over homework from last night. Then, we read Fences. It is a interesting play and book to begin with. Troy is the father of a idealistic musician, archangel son, and a inspiring football player, Rose is his wife. Troy is blunt to anybody. Rose is the typical mother wanting to decide what's better for her and her kids. Gabriel, who himself is to believed to be the archangel, was shot in the head, but has a metal plate. Bono is a follower than a leader. He agrees on Troy's arguments or try not get in as much.   Day 19:  It is Valentine's Day! Nice to see people receiving gifts plus their reactions. I did a Valentine's Day Hairstyle. People said they loved my hair and I felt so happy. I like being creative with my hair. Especially when holidays come around. My brother took more pictures of me for the yearbook.
